TeaCodex is a local tea reference in English. The built-in library, pictures, and notes you add or import stay on your device. The app does not require an account.
Built-in tea pictures ship inside the app. A picture you choose is copied onto the device. Import saves picture bytes on the device. If a file only contains a web address for a picture, that file is downloaded once during import and the address is not kept.
Core lookup works offline. The app may request an optional splash-ad configuration. If that request fails, the ad is skipped. Choosing a photo from an ad page uses the system photo library only; the camera is not used.
